“I grow what I love, and I make what I grow into things that carry meaning.”
— Amelia
My name is Amelia, and my hands cultivate the land at farmhousework. I work with herbs the way they were always meant to be used—creating simple, intentional pieces for the rhythms of life: holidays, events, and everyday moments. An Ostara simmer pot welcoming spring. A funerary bundle of rosemary to remember your loved ones. Or simply a drawer that smells like lavender.
Everything I make is done by hand, rooted in the traditions of gardening, history, and symbolism, and guided by the seasons. farmhousework is about returning to something we have forgotten along the way—how to ground ourselves and our rituals in plants from the land.

My Values & Approach
I believe in growing everything I can in my garden. If I am unable to grow it myself, I buy from local vendors in Wisconsin who share my values. If I am unable to find it locally, I buy from reputable organic sources (like Plant Therapy). I plant and harvest according to the Moon, and I create my products guided by the Wheel of the Year.
Gardening with Intention
Every dried or harvested botanical I use is grown in my own garden. I plant with intention, tend it through the seasons, harvest at peak moon phase, and dry naturally.

Rooted in Nature
The wheel of the year guides what I create. I follow the rhythms of the earth in what I plant, what I make, and when.
Honest Craft
I don’t use artificial fragrance or fillers. What you smell is real — dried flowers, herbs, resins, and essential oils.

Ritual & Meaning
Whether you’re marking a wedding, a funeral, a sabbat, or just a quiet evening, every item is made to hold meaning.
Always Learning
Herbalism is a life-long study. My knowledge grows with each season.
